Devin D (Deutschland) Production 1958-1963
The Devin D was offered as both a kit and a completed car. It had a tubular frame and a 83" wheelbase. The car was based on Volkswagen components and could be fitted with either a Porsche or VW engine. A turn key car with a Porsche engine, weighting 1,180 lbs, was just $3,350. The VW version was $2,950 or just the kit alone for $1,495. For the more adventurous, the body and frame were $895. I hear 49 were produced.
