Devin Panhard
The cars were sold for approx. $995 in kit form or $2850 complete. Powered by a 750 or 850cc air-cooled two-cylinder, it was the first car to utilize a belt-driven overhead camshaft. They were also front-drive cars. Around 12 were built and approximately three that still race. James Orr raced one of them in 24 SCCA races.

In Memory of Tony and Alva Rodrigues
My husband Tony raced #144 for many years, and his father Alva raced #118, when Alva passed away in 2003 Tony started racing #118. In 2008 Tony sold #144 and it went to France. Sadly Tony passed away recently after a year long battle with Brain Cancer. #118 was just sold and now also resides in France. Tony really loved his many vintage races with the 1954 Devin Panhard. -Cy Rodrigues
